Refund and Cancellation Policy
When a student applies to AmPac, their application is reviewed and the student is immediately sent the first required course, an orientation course, and all the introductory materials necessary to begin their program. The student then has two (2) weeks to review the materials and decide whether they wish to participate in the program. During this two week period, the student may cancel their enrollment and all tuition paid will be returned. The $100.00 application and processing fees are not refundable. All requests for a refund must be made in writing to the University, Attention: Director of Student Services. Receipt of materials and coursework in no way implies that the student has been accepted by AmPac. Note: Enrollment is contingent upon receipt of student’s application, all official transcripts, and the student meeting all admissions standards and requirements.
After the two-week period, refunds are based upon how much of the program has been completed. All refunds are calculated on the student’s total tuition cost and the number of courses completed in addition to application of the timeframe below. The remaining amount of the tuition after the refund is calculated will be kept as a cancellation fee. AmPac’s policy is fair and equitable, and no exceptions to the policy will be made. Please allow thirty (30) days for processing of your cancellation.
Cancellation between 15 and 60days ..............................80% refund
Cancellation between 61 and 100 days ...........................60% refund
Cancellation between 101 and 140 days .........................40% refund
Cancellation between 141 and 180 days .........................20% refund
Cancellation after 180 days .............................................0% refund
students who apply and begin courses prior to acceptance and enrollment are subject to a refund policy that computes the refund percentage based upon the number of credits completed prior to cancellation divided by the number of credits in the prospective degree program, in addition to the timeframe mentioned previously and determines the proportion of refund to be granted. For example, if the number of credits completed prior to cancellation is 9, in a 90 credit program, and cancellation was requested on the 50th day, the refund amount would be calculated as follows:
$5900 Total Tuition Amount Paid for a 90 credit program
-1180 Cancellation on the 50th day = 20% cancellation cost
-590 9 units completed – 9 units divided by 90 units is 10%
$4130 Refund
